Laying in the dark listening to Soft Bulletin by the Flaming Lips

The calm darkness of the night makes a clean back drop to explore the the landmark work, Soft Bulletin, primarily developed by the Flaming Lips' musical genius, Steven Drozd. Released June 22,1999 in the US, I first learned of the work last year when I saw the video, The Fearless Freaks by Bradley Beesley. Soft Bulletin is one of those unique works that captivates the imagination and emotions of the listener especially when heard during the calmness of the night.
